Independently or family-owned — no corporate chains. Independent ownership is what makes honest pricing possible.

Direct cremation at $1,500 or less, all-inclusive: local pickup, cold storage, cremation container, cremation, Social Security notification, and one certified death certificate.

Pricing publicly available — the price families see on your listing is your final, no-surprise price

SCI / Service Corporation International, Dignity Memorial, Carriage Services, Foundation Partners Group, NorthStar Memorial Group, and all corporate funeral chains are not eligible for listing.

Pricing Questions

No. Your listing is annual — it renews once per year at $999. There is no multi-year commitment, no penalty for cancelling, and no lock-in period. If you choose not to renew, simply let us know before your renewal date and your listing will be closed. Your city spot will then become available for other qualifying providers.

Yes. You can cancel your listing at any time. Because listings are billed annually upfront, we do not offer prorated refunds for partial years. If you cancel mid-year, your listing will remain active through the end of your paid period and then close. We don’t hold anyone to a listing they don’t want — but the annual fee is non-refundable once the listing is live.

If a qualifying funeral home has already claimed the exclusive listing for your city, you cannot list for that city while they are active. We maintain a strict one-per-city policy. If you believe the currently listed provider no longer meets our standards, you can contact us and we will review. Otherwise, you may apply to be notified if the city listing ever becomes available again.

If you serve multiple cities, check whether any of those cities are currently unclaimed — you can hold separate listings for each city where you have a physical location.

You can update your listed price at any time by contacting us. If your direct cremation price increases above $1,500, your listing will be reviewed and may be removed from the directory. Our $1,500 price cap is a hard requirement — it’s what makes this directory meaningful to families. We understand that costs rise, and we will always give you the opportunity to address a pricing issue before removing a listing, but the cap itself is non-negotiable.

No. The $999 annual fee is the only required cost. There are no referral fees, no per-inquiry charges, no commission on services, and no hidden fees. The only optional additional cost is the $199 one-time profile setup service, which is entirely optional. What you see is what you pay.
